These terms shall be applicable to the buyers who purchase the TallyPrime software and Tally Software Services ("TSS") directly from Tally's website.
Prices for the Software are as mentioned on the Tally website, subject to any applicable discounts offered, which may be adjusted at the Tally's discretion from time to time. All prices on the Tally website are exclusive of any taxes, fees, duties, or similar amounts. The User is responsible for paying any taxes related to the TallyPrime software or services. Where applicable, taxes will be listed separately on the invoice.
Prices for the Software include a 12-month subscription to TSS. Upon or before completion of this period, Users will need to renew their TSS subscription to continue accessing the value-added services provided under TSS.
The Software, its renewal or upgrade or any other value-added services provided or to be provided by Tally from time to time, shall be effective upon successful completion of payment. In the event of a failed payment, amount deducted shall be reversed to the source account in due course of time, by the payment gateway and/or the issuing bank of the User and/or by home bank of the User. If the payment is not reversed, User should contact his/her bank or may contact our Customer Care Centre at support@tallysolutions.com.
Tally may at its sole discretion consider accepting return of a TallyPrime software and any other value-added service(s), except Whatsapp for Business services and grant of part or full refund, depending on the circumstances of each case.
You may cancel your Subscription through your account on the Platform. However, please note that the cancellation will become effective at the end of the then-current billing period; in other words, we will not renew your Subscription, but the existing Subscription will continue until the end of its billing period and there shall be no refund of the fee already paid for the same, unless otherwise specified. So, please read these terms and conditions and the Refund Policy carefully before purchasing any Subscription.
The User agrees to be contacted by Tally either electronically or by phone to inform the User on the expiry of their license or subscriptions, or to understand their interest in Tally's other products and services and to process such request.
Protecting your privacy is very important to us. As part of the normal operation of our services, your basic information including but not limited to your name, address, e-mail and phone numbers, etc. is collected by us for internal record purpose. Please be informed that the data collected will be used strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
User acknowledges that Tally may share User's Confidential Data with the following on need-to-know basis:
Tally (India) Private Limited ("TIPL"), being the online distributor of the Software, is facilitating easy instalments ("EMI") on your purchases of the Software and any other value-added services by using eligible credit or debit cards. The EMI facility is not available on purchases made using Net Banking. The EMI facility is being offered by the respective banks/NBFCs to the User and TIPL has no role to play in the approval, extension, pricing, modification, pre-closure, closure or any matter incidental thereto pertaining to offering of the EMI facility, which is decided at the sole discretion of the bank/NBFC.
The EMI facility being offered by the banks/NBFCs to the Users is governed by the respective terms and conditions of each bank/NBFC/issuer and the User is advised to approach the bank/NBFC/issuer in case of any complaint, dispute or enquiry about an EMI transaction. Statutory taxes (GST, Education cess and any other taxes) will be levied by the banks on the charges levied by them for the EMI facility as mandated by applicable laws and regulations. TIPL reserves the right to stop facilitating this service on TallyPrime without any prior notice.
TIPL on a best effort basis displays representative EMI related information (EMI amount, Interest rate charged, Total amount payable) for the User's purchase on TallyPrime as per the information shared with it by the respective banks/NBFCs on an "AS IS" basis. Banks/NBFCs/issuers are the authoritative source of this information and Users are advised to directly contact their bank/NBFCs/issuer for any further clarifications in this regard.
TIPL does not charge the User any processing or convenience fee for the purpose of facilitating the EMI facility for its Users. TIPL shall not be held liable for any dispute arising out of or in connection with such EMI facility being offered by the respective banks/NBFCs/issuer including but not limited to the authenticity and/or accuracy of any EMI information supplied by the banks/NBFCs to TIPL for displaying on TallyPrime.
